Ned Bug

The Great Lakes Finesse Ned Bug is a trusted Ned bait when smallmouth bass ignore standard finesse plastics. Its 2.3-inch creature-style profile delivers a natural, lifelike action that excels in slow, bottom-contact presentations. Designed to pair perfectly with the Great Lakes Finesse Ned Head, this Ned rig bait features a hidden hook slot that keeps most of the hook concealed, improving snag resistance while still ensuring clean hooksets. On the retrieve, the floating plastic helps the Ned Bug smallmouth bait lift slightly off the bottom, mimicking a crawfish or aquatic creature in a defensive stance. Whether you're dragging it along the bottom, hopping it in place, or threading it onto a finesse jig, this bait’s matte finish and buoyant design ensure a realistic, durable presentation that holds up cast after cast.
